It's exciting for us who live for this (music) that our city is becoming in the last months an outstanding scene for quality music.

Just check what's going on...

Circulos de Nada continues to explore a mixture of south american and mexican concepts into what I should call rock music with success, the CD "El Ultimo Llanto del Diablo" has to be listened.

Ventilader is working hard on their experimental ethereal electronic rock, taking us here in Monterrey to something very uncomon in the musical circle in the city.

Nerve released a second EP tending to a brit-pop/experimental genre in a notable "Señor Sanitario"

Vaquero (with former Zurdok members( release a superb brit-pop Monterrey made (as Nerv, completely in English, aiming the m*filtered* market) with success that we hope will be also a commercial hit.

Then Jumbo released another record (have to say that I haven't listened a lot) on the same evolutive path they have used us to hear since Restaurant

We received the visit of Elfonía and things get even more interesting. The time Marcela and Alejandro spent with Arjen Luc*filtered*en made some indeleble marks on the band... just hear conciously to "This Sonic Landscape" check the composition and the high profile of Marcela's voice and you'll understand. Still somehow dark, more progressive, more agressive and übercool.

Finally, we grab with pride the CD from Gigur, a more progressive band that released and extraordinary album with superb composition and performance...

Wow! and make sure, this excitement hasn´t been like you´re reading since we began in 2000. It´s really great being around here these days... And we hope we´re -although very little- a contributing part of this....
